PERSONAL HEALING MANTRAS

Who would you become if there were no boundaries?

Personal Healing Mantras are an innovative & unique musical form of personal healing and transformation. Each one on one, songwriting interactive process will gently lead you to name and claim your greatest fear, define the grandest vision of who you choose to be, and through the healing power of song and positive affirmation, you will bridge the gap between fear and vision so you can walk into your greatest self. You will receive a CD copy of your individual heart-song written specifically for you. Experience shows that if you sing your mantra everyday, if you affirm your grandest vision everyday, you WILL become the grandest vision of who you choose to be.

MORE MANTRA DETAIL

This personal, intimate, and confidential 1 hour process allows you and I to gently uncover what you are most afraid of in your life. Perhaps the fear of being unworthy; the fear of not being enough; the fear of being unlovable; the fear of being undeserving; the fear of abandonment and rejection; the fear of failure or success; the fear of dying. We then discuss how this fear blocks you from success; from fulfilling relationships with family, friends and lovers; from finding and singing your heart song. Then we discuss your grandest dreams - you'll share with me and yourself how you would live your life and who you would become if there were no boundaries.

Then I will go off on my own and I will use your words, word phrasings and ideas to write a song, a mantra that will link your fear and your vision through lyric, melody and rhyme.

We reconvene, we look each other directly in the eyes, we connect on a soul level and I sing to you. You may cry, laugh or just be silent, and you will be moved. Then, if you are comfortable, we will sing the song together. I will encourage you to sing your mantra everyday, and especially when your specific fear surfaces.

"Each of us deserves to feel worthy, like we are enough and the Mantras are a powerful tool in helping us to understand and embrace our profound worth."
Your mantra is a tool to literally sing through your fear and into your grandest vision of who you choose to be. It is positive affirmation that reconditions your thought process about how you feel about yourself, others and the world. It is a way to re-member your authentic voice and to stay true to it.

Are you living a life that YOU chose? Do you dance like no one’s watching? Are you breathing on purpose? Do you love, laugh and smile often?

GDNHAP: Ego Versus God will inspire you to say “yes” to your life and to live each day as though it were your last. This theatrical jazz concert elegantly blends jazz and blues with a splash of theatre to share one woman’s struggle with physical image, self esteem, materialism, addiction, suicide and spirituality and her painful yet humorous surrender into the possibility of a new life. If you have ever felt unworthy, lonely, addicted or simply wanted to give up on life, this show will help you to see that you are not alone and we, together, can share hope, possibility and change.

THEATRICAL JAZZ CONCERT - HOW THEY BEGAN
In 2005 Susan wrote and debuted her Theatrical Jazz Concert, Sweet Surrender, which is a musical theatre piece that elegantly blends jazz and blues with a splash of theatre to share one woman’s personal struggle with physical image, self esteem, materialism, addiction, suicide and spirituality and her painful yet humorous surrender into the possibility of a new life.

The show was and is very successful in the public forum, and after Susan witnessed the positive, and sometimes life changing effect that her truth, music and message had on the audiences, she realized that Sweet Surrender was more than just a piece of musical theatre, it was an educational healing project that could help people see the possibility in their own lives. So she created a series of Theatrical Jazz Concerts that focus on specific themes extracted from the original show. Susan has developed a collection of very entertaining yet educational performance pieces each focusing on a different aspect of the human experience; self-esteem, body image, addiction, peer pressure, and finding our authentic voice.

These performance are presented in theatres, clubs, churches, institutions, schools, homeless shelters, festivals and private venues.
